Tapas Valencia is Heavily Involved with Many Charities

Thousands of businesses and companies support the less fortunate in their community and surrounding areas. This awareness and willingness to be socially responsible is a very wonderful quality. Many people in the local area and around the world need some form of assistance. Whether it is due to destructive storms, a devastating illness, hunger or other circumstances, there are always groups who depend on the help of others. Tapas Valencia Spanish restaurant in Chicago is aware of this and has been working with charitable organizations for many years.

The participation of Tapas is usually done in tandem with donations from their generous customers.  These often take the form of scheduled and organized charitable events. For example, Tapas played a role in collecting funds to help the victims of Hurricane Katrina and the American Red Cross.  The restaurant is very grateful to all the local communities for their support in these fund raisers.

Tapas Valencia Offers Educator and Student Discount

Tapas Valencia has extended their educator discount to include ALL educators and students in the City of Chicago.

Tapas Valencia offers all educators in the city of Chicago a discount of 30%, and students a discount of 10%, for up to four guests, as a gesture of our appreciation. For groups larger than four, the discount will be prorated.

In order to take advantage of this discount, it is required for the individual to present a current valid educator/student picture ID*.

We believe that educators hold one of the most important roles in our society. Through their tireless efforts, they help shape the future of our children and the world. Those who choose to become a teacher do so because of their passion and commitment to enrich the lives for a better future, not for financial reasons, job perks or benefits. Their daily job is not finished at the end of the school day as they need to prepare for the following day and tutor students as needed. Many highly successful individuals owe their achievements to an influence from one or more of their teachers.

That being said, we also believe that teachers don’t receive the recognition, appreciation and compensation they deserve. Unlike police officers and fire fighters who are known heroes and are recognized in dozens of television series showcasing their bravery, there is not one show portraying the heroism of teachers. Some families presume that raising children is a part of a teacher’s responsibilities, thus making their jobs more difficult.

We continue to be grateful to the educators of our community and the world as well as your support over the years.

Sincerely,

Hossein Jamali

President

*Discount is not valid with other promotions and only one discount is offered per table. It is not valid for Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, New Year’s Eve or other special events.
